Field Note : Margate has benefited from major investment in recent years and the newly refurbished Visitor Centre adjacent to the striking outline of the Turner Contemporary is complimented now by sweeping arc of steps that lead from the town into the sea. A stiff breeze was blowing some puffy clouds in fro the north east so I used a 10 stop ND filter to give a sense of movement in the sky and water to create a soft effect in contrast to the sharp outline of the architecture.
