 Gondola, Grand Canal, Venice As they work their way up and down the canals the gondolas are irresistable to the photographer as they are set amid the beautiful, ageing Venetian architecture.
Here, a tight crop that excluded the sky and concentrated on contrasting the Gondola against the colourful houses has worked well. It is often the case that the simpler the composition the more striking the image is for it.
