 Langkawi, Malaysia An irresistable tropical sunset. I found this spot after wandering along the beach and through the palms during the day. It occured to me that this palm could be used to fill the gap above those further away on the beach to good effect. Finding ways to fill these 'holes' in a composition is often the challenge I face. An otherwise interesting viewpoint can become very bland if the photograph simply runs out of things to say for itself. Left blank with only the sky to see in the top half would have seriously undermined the appeal of this photograph for me.
