 Watendlath Tarn, England Sometimes I find it very hard to 'see' the picture when the light is not particularly striking or the subject not obviously dramatic.
However, these times make me search harder around the subject and look deeper into its potential to find a composition that works. I liked the recession in these rocks amid the calm water and I thought that the sky would have enough tonal range to keep it interesting for the shot to work well in black and white.
