 Kozyak waterfall, Slovenia Here is a classic example of the benefits of digital capture: the cut in the rock above the waterfall was about 8 stops brighter than the dark cavern in which I was loitering with my camera. Without being able to expose once for the cavern and then for the slot above and blend the two in PS this image would be doomed to failure. A strong torch was also used to add some extra illumination to the right hand wall which was simply so dark it had it's own gravitational pull.
