 Deal Pier, Kent, England I was commissioned by Kent Life magazine to photograph the front cover for their May 2009 edition. They had a feature on piers in the county and were desperate for a colourful shot that included one.
On my second attempt the light prevailed and I carefully composed my image to allow space for their masthead and strap lines. I submitted my results and this was their final choice.
