The groundbreaking work of George Meiss includes a stunning portfolio of work from Oia and includes this view which I found I could not better or resist reinterpreting for myself. The jumble of houses, clinging to the cliffs, are bathed in the soft, reflected light after sunset and shows a side of the islands character away from the classic sunsets and blue skies.
