Staying somewhere and basing yourself in that area has much to commend it as an approach to successful landscape photography. By limiting myself to a smaller area I tend to explore and know it better than a more roving apparoach to a wider landscape. With the opportunity to find and re visit specific viewpoints like this I could take advanatage of a series of dawns over the pretty little Rydal Water.
