Field Notes
I have a secret attraction to photographing wind farms out to sea! There’s no political or environmental statement in this; I’m drawn to them photographically whenever I find them out to sea from a coastline. In this shot, without the windfarm I cannot see this photo would work. They are a focal point between the balance of sea and sky and the high contrast is suited well to a black and white conversion from the original RAW file. EOS 5DMKIII, 70-200mm lens with 2x converter, 1/500 at F8 ISO 100.
